Title: A Humble Life, Complete Trust Scripture: Psalm 23, Psalm 131 Message Summary This sermon, through a comparison of David and Solomon, points out that God values ​​not outward achievements, but a person's heart. Solomon possessed wisdom, wealth, a temple, and a prosperous nation, but in his later years his heart strayed from God; David, though he suffered a severe setback, was willing to repent and continued to rely on God in affliction, success, and failure. Psalm 23 shows that David trusted God in affliction, believing that even after passing through the valley of the shadow of death, God was still with him. Psalm 131 shows that David remained humble in success, not striving to control everything, like a weaned child quietly in God's embrace.
