CREATING ROOTS: TINY HOMES FOR FOSTER YOUTH
This Episode is very close to our hearts. Last week we showed you a tour of one of our Tiny House models called The Nest, and this week we sit down with the Owner Charlene April, who came to us with this very special project. Charlene is the founder of a Non-Profit Organization called Creating Roots, which is aiming to prevent homelessness for youth who age out of the foster system by providing them Tiny homes to live in in hopes to give them security, opportunity and a better future. Tiny House Expert Daniel Ott sits down with Charlene to talk all about her charity, The Nest project and where she thinks the tiny home movement will go from here. Her answer to the latter is inspirational and spot on so make sure to watch to the end to hear that. This was our favorite project to date because we absolutely love being able to participate in business for good, and to use design to better peoples lives.
