Is Dental Work in Mexico Still Worth It? 🇲🇽 (My honest experience in Santiago de Querétaro)

I travelled from Canada to Querétaro, Mexico, for dental treatment, hoping to save money — something I’ve done before. But things have changed. Prices in Mexico have gone up, and the Canadian dollar doesn’t go as far anymore. In this video, I share my honest experience — and whether I would still do it again. At the same time, I discovered Querétaro — a beautiful colonial city in central Mexico that I hadn’t planned to spend much time in… but ended up staying for weeks. If you’re considering dental work in Mexico, or looking for a different side of the country beyond the beaches, this video might help. My honest takeaway: Dental clinics in Mexico can be excellent and modern Costs are still lower — but not as low as before For major work like implants, multiple trips can change the overall cost Would I do it again? ✔ Yes — for crowns or general dental work (especially if already travelling) ❌ Probably not — for a single implant requiring multiple trips Places featured: Querétaro Historic Centre Aqueduct (Acueducto de Querétaro) Cathedral & plazas Mercado La Cruz Convento de la Cruz Next video: San Miguel de Allende (where my plans changed…) If you enjoy slow, independent travel and real experiences, you’re welcome to follow along.
