Interview - On The Come Up: Lady London

Lady London is a 27-year-old rapper and self-taught studio engineer from East Orange, New Jersey by way of Bronx, New York. Before pursuing her music career, Lady London studied at Howard University and the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. The East Coast femcee gained recognition for her freestyle on Sway in the Morning back in 2020, and released her first project, Lady Like: The Boss Tape, in January. The mixtape contained London’s ‘Lady Londays’ freestyles which went viral on social media for her remixes of some of hip-hop’s most acclaimed tracks.
