When it arrived in Brazil in 2006, the Fusion was a typically American car: long, wide, smooth, and with a striking presence, especially in our sedan market at the time. The formula was a success, but as the years passed, the car naturally needed to be redesigned, and Ford, within its project of global cars with local differences, changed its philosophy: although still a large, comfortable, and smooth car, the Fusion was now the American version of the Mondeo, sold in Europe for almost 30 years.
