The Jaeger-LeCoultre Problem

Jaeger-LeCoultre has been a brand in decline for the past 5 or so years. But why? They are a darling of watch fam (or the watch collecting community), they have amazing heritage, JLC watches are incredibly well made and they are generally very well liked. So, why are they in the decline? Why don't we see more people wearing and buying JLC watches? What is the JLC problem? I'd break it down into 4 parts: 1. Missing an entry level sporty watch or "GADA" piece; 2. Price point and price increases over these past 4 years; 3. Lack of brand recognition and 4. Missing brand identity. As always: this is just my opinion - I can't wait to read yours in the comments down below!
