DEADLY SONS - I'LL BE FINE

DEADLY SONS - I'll Be Fine The debut single from Deadly Sons blends a bouncy, tribal drum groove with a long-shelved, single coil guitar riff. You'd be forgiven for expecting our first release to have sounded a bit darker and grittier (at least based on our band name), but we kinda done the opposite. I'll Be Fine is ultimately a simple message that even in the middle of hard times, eventually it will be ok - with the accompanying reminder that we're not alone. Hailing influences from bands like Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters, the idea for the song was first sparked during Harry and Scott’s earliest jam sessions. With Chuck and Aaron completing the four-piece, the track expanded into a rich soundscape enhanced by atmospheric guitar and expressive bass work. Lyrically, the verses deliver simple but weighted reflections on the fallout of a broken relationship and the battle we fight with our own heads. In contrast, the chorus opens up with a bright sense of optimism, ringing out a universal reassurance of hope at the heart of the song: you’ll be fine - we’re not alone. LYRICS: You'll bend over backwards to prove I'm insane, But the truth drifts between us like smoke in the rain. A chorus of whispers surrounds every claim, Yet truth wears no crown and refuses a name. And I'll be fine, Yeah I'll be fine, And you'll be fine, And we'll be fine, We're not alone. I reach for the pieces, but nothing will stay, The ground that we stood on is crumbling away. But out of the wreckage, a faint light appears. A hope that grows stronger, in spite of the years. And I'll be fine, Yeah I'll be fine, And you'll be fine, And we'll be fine, We're not alone.
