Je Grimpe avec un Orang-outan Géant

For 30 days, I followed in the footsteps of Jengot, a wild orangutan, through the dense jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park in Sumatra. Every morning at dawn, I set out in search of him — to observe him in his natural habitat, to understand his gestures, the way he moves, climbs, lives. He is immense, powerful, majestic. He offered me a lesson in movement, in silence, and in deep connection to the forest. This journey was far more than a physical challenge — it was a quest for learning, a return to the essence of the body, to primal instinct. For 720 hours, I lived by the rhythm of the jungle, mirrored my movements to Djangot’s, and tried to grasp what it truly means to inhabit a tree. This video is a tribute to him, to his endangered species, and to the wild beauty of Sumatra.
