In this, edition 131 of PowerTec 10, DV investigates just how effective changing the rear end gears and REM polishing (micro polishing) them is worth. All the testing was done with a 2023 Ecoboost Mustang which is currently PowerTec 10's principle project car. This test includes dyno and drag strip testing as well as gear noise and temperature tests. Though tested in our Ecoboost Mustang the results apply to virtually any car.
