I’m only giving constructive criticism on why classic Family Guy works and why Modern Family Guy fails. If you like Family Guy from the 2010s and the 2020s, that’s perfectly fine, more power to you. Well here it is, my friends! My second rant related video on my channel. And this time it’s on a cartoon I used to love back in the old days, but has gone downhill in the 2010s onwards: Modern Family Guy. It has lack of humour, characters being constantly cruel with no sense of likability whatsoever, it’s far more mean spirited than funny and had more bad episodes than good compared to The Simpsons. The Meg torture is getting extremely overused, Peter is a psychopath, Brian is a jerk, this show doesn’t like it’s audience, shows unnecessary violent imagery, cutaway gags used constantly, tries way too hard to be edgy and cool and the show nowadays is just mean. So… my thoughts of Family Guy as a whole have been mixed, hasn’t it? I loved the show during it’s prime, I started to lose interest for a while, I got interested in the show again FOR THE WRONG REASONS, I got interested in it once again and now I despise the newest seasons. So I’m listing the ten reasons why I dislike Family Guy now. And lastly, Family Guy nowadays is only good for nostalgia by looking at past episodes and using clips during videos. If you do find Modern Family Guy watchable and find it interesting, watch it if you’re a die hard Family Guy fan. Me? Forget it. Don’t count me in.
