Sometimes it's impossible or difficult to use screw clamps when gluing. In this short DICTUM Workshop live tutorial, instructor Heiko Pulcher demonstrates practical tips on how to make adhesive bonds stable and durable even without clamps or clamps. Modern PVAc-based white glues don't require pressure to cure. Pressure serves to improve the fit, achieve the thinnest possible glue film, and optimize surface wetting and glue penetration. Furthermore, the glued parts must be held in a fixed position at least until the end of the pressing time. All of this can be achieved without clamps.
