According to CCTV footage previously highlighted by the I.A.N Network, Joshua was seen with his hands in the air and outside the vehicle before officers opened fire. •Joshua’s girlfriend, Kaia Sealy, was also wounded during the incident and left paralysed. The matter remains before the court, with Sealy charged with manslaughter in Joshua’s death, shooting at three police officers and four firearm and ammunition-related offences. • During the Father’s Day programme, Samaroo, who spoke over the phone, was asked to speak about his son, the grief of losing a child and what it means to continue as a father after such an immeasurable loss.
