LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade | First Time Hearing | Reaction This reaction was one that had been requested by a lot of LOVEBITES fans, so I finally had to see what all the excitement was about. At this point, every time I hear LOVEBITES, I come away saying the same thing—they are absolutely incredible. The musicianship in this band is just off the charts. Both guitarists are phenomenal, and what impresses me the most is how incredibly synchronized they are. When they play those dual guitar harmonies and synchronized solos, they're absolutely locked in. They're so tight that they're not even a millisecond apart. That's the kind of precision that only comes from an incredible amount of talent and practice. The song itself was fantastic. It opens with a really cool, driving riff before evolving into the melodic metal sound that LOVEBITES does so well. I love how they balance heaviness with melody without sacrificing either one. One thing that really stood out to me on this reaction was the vocalist, Asami. It finally hit me that, since LOVEBITES is a Japanese band, English is almost certainly not her first language. That makes her performance even more impressive. Writing lyrics and singing in English when it isn't your native language can't be easy, yet she delivers them with confidence and emotion. Out of all the Japanese bands I've reacted to so far, LOVEBITES is the one that consistently performs its songs in English, and I have a lot of respect for the effort that takes. Everything about this song just worked for me. The riffs, the melodies, the guitar work, the vocals, and the overall musicianship were outstanding. This one gets an easy thumbs up and is another reminder of why LOVEBITES continues to be one of the most impressive bands I've discovered on this channel.
