Tactus Records Ferdinando Paer è un compositore italiano di fine Settecento. Egli conosce bene l'arpa e scrive molto bene per questo strumento. Queste variazioni per arpa sono composte durante il suo lungo periodo trascorso a Parigi ove collabora con Naderman e Bochsa, celebri compositori e didatti dell'arpa. Il tema delle variazioni viene fornito da un'allegra aria veneziana molto in voga verso la fine del XVIII secolo: "Parona compatime" (usata anche da Paisiello e Rolla)...
