[Kumakuma Park Events] Late April to Early May: Grand Opening & Golden Week Event The park welcomes visitors with the bears waking from hibernation. You can also touch the cubs born this year. Late July to Mid-August: Summer Vacation Event A variety of events are held, including a quiz rally, exploring the brown bear playground, and hiding food. Late October to Early November (until closing): Halloween Event & Closing The park is decorated, and sweets are available at reception. You'll be greeted by fluffy, furry bears preparing for winter. Weekends and Holidays in February (Reservations Required) Hibernation Tour. See Asiatic black bears hibernate, a rare sight in Japan.
