Whether by ambulance and fire engine on the ground or by helicopter from the air: the Allgäu rescue organizations are always there when you need them. In the new issue of our district magazine, we take a look at the work and future prospects of various organizations. From the Red Cross ambulance service and the Kempten fire department to the air rescue team of the Christoph 17 helicopter. We also visited the Allgäu control center, the place where all the threads of the rescue organizations come together. It's work that requires a great deal of concentration, but usually takes place behind closed doors.
