Gorgeous!: 4x 1956 Royal Doulton 'Omega' Washdown Pans w/ High Level 00's Twyford 'Classic' Cisterns

I believe these have been filmed before, however it was great to see them for myself! This beautiful art deco building has quite an interesting history as it begun construction in the 1930's, which was interrupted due to the Second World War, and wasn't completed until 1956! We have an amazing mostly original set of toilets here, with a great atmosphere. Remarkably the only fatalities over the years are replacement cisterns and urinals, with the pans, basins, tiles and flooring etc still original! Shows how strong Royal Doulton fireclay ware is. The basins don't have a model name according to my 1958 catalogue however they're No. 2339, and the drinking fountain (which sadly no longer works) is No. 2570. Onto the toilets, we have a set of four 1956 Royal Doulton 'Omega' fireclay washdown pans, all paired up to replacement Twyford 'Classic' cisterns from the 2000's. They all have brilliant flushes as thankfully whoever installed the cisterns had the sense to set them to flush 2gals (except the right hand side cubicle, although that could just be a consequence of a syphon replacement).
