The moments of an accident involving two trucks on the Lumajang-Malang Highway in Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java, were captured on CCTV on Friday (July 3, 2026). In the footage, a truck driver is seen thrown from the cab after two vehicles collided from opposite directions. The victim then went into a ditch at the side of the road. The video also shows one of the trucks suddenly swerving to the right before hitting the truck coming from the opposite direction. Just before the collision, a prolonged screeching sound of brakes is heard. The accident involved a black truck colliding with a yellow truck. While negotiating a curve, the driver of the black truck allegedly lacked control of the terrain, causing it to swerve to the right. At the same time, a yellow truck was traveling from the opposite direction at moderate speed, making the collision unavoidable. The force of the impact threw the driver of the black truck from the driver's seat and into a nearby ditch.
