Los Oasis de Pica Vida y muerte en el desierto - Remasterizado

In the oases of Pica, Matilla, and Quisma, in the Tarapacá Desert, there was water, crops, and human life. The ecosystem, culture, and sense of belonging were radically altered after Chile seized the region from Peru. Much of the water from the oases was diverted to the nitrate mining ports, where the population was concentrated. The rich crops of the Quisma Valley were condemned to death, and its inhabitants to an exile with no return.
