Hello! Greetings, welcome back! Don't get bored watching our travel shows on our family channel! This time, we'll take you all on a pilgrimage to the Holy Trinity Parish Church in Tuka, Badung, Bali. Holy Trinity Parish in Tuka is a Roman Catholic parish in the Diocese of Denpasar, centered in Dalung Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. The inauguration of the first Catholic church in Bali on February 14, 1937, is considered the founding of Tuka Parish. Tuka holds a very special significance for the Catholic Church in Bali because it was from this village that the first Balinese Catholics arrived. Two young men from Tuka accepted the Catholic faith at that time, and Catholicism began to spread to the surrounding area. Due to this event and the history of this church, Tuka Parish is often nicknamed "Bali's Bethlehem." The current building was inaugurated in 1987, featuring Balinese ornaments. It features carved altars and Balinese angkuls at the front. The church's architectural style is based on the Balinese wantilan, or traditional meeting hall. The goal is to create a symbol of the gathering of people from all over the world to worship God. Every Catholic religious holiday celebrates a Balinese cultural touch. This is because they remain committed to the teachings of their ancestors. Cultural preservation is essential. We headed to the location using Google Maps. The road to the location is quite easy; it's accessible by car, motorcycle, or bus. The parking area is spacious... There are plenty of food stalls around the church...
