We spent 2 nights on the island of Poros, staying right in the port town in a beautiful Airbnb. The location was great, but fair warning — there’s a bit of uphill walking and stairs. That said, the views were 100% worth the climb. I’ll be honest… the first day didn’t fully click for me. The port town felt hot with the afternoon sun, and many restaurants didn’t open until later in the evening. That said, there were still some great cafés and food spots nearby, and the town definitely comes alive at night. Everything changed once we hit the beaches. The water, the scenery, and the slower pace completely shifted my mindset. From that moment on, Poros really surprised us, and we ended up having an amazing couple of nights on the island.
