Biometar 120mm CLA - Aperture Repair. Pentacon Six Lens Repair.
In this video I show CLA (Clean Lubricate Adjust) procedure for CZJ Biometar 120mm f/2.8 lens in Pentacon Six mount. Stuck aperture is a very common issue for CZJ lenses. The main reason for it is the age of the lenses and not enough maintenance. Solution to that problem is very simple - cleaning. In most cases you don't need to replace parts, just disassemble, clean the aperture blades and assemble lens back. Pentacon Six lenses are not very complicated mechanically. So, disassembly is very straight forward and does not require custom or hard to find tools.
