Live improvised piano on a sunlit Malibu afternoon — eight pieces, no setlist, each one a color I was hearing in the moment. I don't play from a score. I play the color I'm feeling, and the pieces name themselves afterward: a green that became "Forest Leaves," a yellow of sunbeams through the canopy in "Rays Through the Canopy," the pull of the Zuma waves in "Tumbling in the Current," and a deep red to close it out with "Crimson Overture." Recorded live on the Nord Piano 2 HP, outdoors, clean audio straight from the board.
