Olara Otunnu to step down as UPC President

The President of the Uganda Peoples Congress party Olara Otunnu has said he will not seek another term in office when the current one ends on 13th March. Olara Otunnu’s statement comes ahead of the party’s national delegates conference where elections for new office-bearers will be held, on a date that is yet to be announced. He says he want to give other potential leaders the chance to drive the party to greater heights.
