Editor's Note: Turns out that you can actually continue without signing into a new account, minus the ability to save. Doing this or starting the game with a new account will first have the game ask if you want to begin a tutorial, and then when you first begin enter story mode will it then trigger the opening cutscene. Afterwards you will be presented with starting the game with either Team Sonic or Team Babylon, with the opening cutscene not playable again from normal selection. Sorry about that.
