The path vanished, leading us astray to the opposite side of a river. Fortunately, a kind local's guidance set us back on track, rekindling our spirits. Our trio marched forward, undeterred by the challenging surroundings. The monsoon had transformed the mountains into a tapestry of tall grass and thick bushes, masking the path and testing our mettle. Amidst the green, a mountain stream offered solace and sustenance as we refilled our water containers, steeling ourselves for the final ascent. Twilight cast its shadow, setting the stage for the ultimate challenge - the last summit. Darkness cloaked our path, rendering it treacherous with slippery rocks and hidden crevices. With determination as our guide, we grasped at grass and rocks, surmounting the steep slope to reach the peak's pinnacle. The space atop was modest, but it became a sanctuary where we pitched our tent, exchanged soaked garments for dry ones, and savored a nourishing meal as clouds veiled the starry expanse.
