Double cheese for extra deliciousness 😁 Perfect for breakfast or lunch 💕 Please try making it if you like 😊 \Recommended Points/ ・Adding tofu makes it extra chewy! It doesn't harden easily even when cooled. Adding potato starch makes the dough easier to handle and results in a light texture. Tofu and cheese provide protein. No eggs, butter, or wheat used. [Ingredients] For 6 servings Silken tofu...150g (1 pack of 3-pack tofu) Rice oil...10g (Canola oil or refined sesame oil, or any oil without strong flavor or taste) Honey...10g (Maple syrup is also OK) Salt...1.5g Rice flour...130g (Kyoritsu Foods' "Rice Flour" - low water absorption rate) Potato starch...20g * Baking powder…5g Baby cheese…3 pieces (approx. 40g) Pizza cheese…30g Because honey is used, do not give to children under 1 year old. The water absorption rate of rice flour varies depending on the product. When using other rice flours, adjust the amount while observing the consistency of the dough. [Instructions] Preparation Measure out 30g of pizza cheese. Tear the baby cheese into pieces. Making the dough 1. Put silken tofu, rice oil, honey, and salt in a bowl and mix while crushing the tofu. 2. Add rice flour, potato starch, and baking powder. Initially, mix by cutting through the mixture to distribute the moisture from the tofu evenly. Once the mixture becomes crumbly, mix by scraping it against the sides of the bowl. If the dough remains dry no matter how long you mix it, add water; if it's sticky, add more rice flour. 3. Once the flour is no longer visible, add the baby cheese and mix until the cheese is evenly distributed. 4. Gather the dough together and divide it into 6 equal portions. Shaping 5. Line the oven toaster tray with non-stick aluminum foil. *If using regular aluminum foil, lightly grease it. 6. Lightly grease your hands (not included in the ingredients) to prevent the dough from sticking. Roll the dough into balls and arrange them on the tray. Lightly grease your hands each time you roll a ball. 7. Once you have 6 balls, make a vertical cut perpendicular to the dough with scissors. Insert scissors into the gap created by the cut and make a cross-shaped incision. Fill the gap with pizza cheese. Baking 8. Bake in a 200°C oven toaster for 14 minutes (approximately 13-15 minutes). *Adjust heating temperature and time according to the type of toaster you have at home. *If it looks like it's browning unevenly, flip it over, and if it looks like it's going to burn, cover it with aluminum foil (we covered it with 4 minutes left this time). Place it on the wire rack and it's done! Storage Wrap each piece individually to prevent drying out if you're not going to eat them immediately. If freezing, put them in a freezer bag. Refrigerate until the next day. Freezing is recommended if you plan to eat them the next day or later. Estimated storage period: about 2 weeks When eating, transfer to a plate, cover loosely with plastic wrap, heat in the microwave at 500-600W (about 1 minute 20 seconds to 1 minute 40 seconds for 2 pieces), and then bake in the toaster on toast mode for 2-3 minutes.
