Place in Practice, June 2026 Session
Our June Place in Practice session focused on the capabilities required for place-based work and how to navigate training and development opportunities. We introduced the PLACE Skills Compass Tool and Training Directory and heard from both audience members and our guest practitioner, Christine Kamau from a.c care, on how key skills show up in their workplaces and how they approach building capability. This session was facilitated by Suji Upasena, Workforce and Sector Strengthening Lead, with guests Tess Gordon, Director of Strategy and Governance and Stephanie Tchan, Workforce Initiatives Coordinator.
