In this video, I explore the streets of Yokosuka City on foot, alternating between walking and running. The route begins at Yokosuka-chuo Station and continues toward Uwamachi. Along the way, I pass Midoriya, a long-established specialty shop selling traditional festival goods. From there, I head through Uwamachi 3-chome, an area formerly known as Kashiwagida, and continue on to Tadodai. In Tadodai, I revisit a piece of land where a sign reading “National Government Property” had previously been displayed. This time, however, the sign was no longer there, suggesting that the status or management of the land may have changed. The route then passes the Tadodai Branch Office, which is managed by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, before continuing to the former Yokosuka checkpoint and the second checkpoint area. This video captures the streets, slopes, historic locations, and changing urban landscape of Yokosuka.
