June 29 (iPad & Ableton Live with Octatrack MK2, AUM, Samplr and Patterning 3)

This is a live improvisation built around a drone made in Samplr on the iPad from a sustained piano chord. The main drone is affected by Imaginando K7D tape delay, Audio Damage Replicant, and Unfiltered Audio Lo Fi AF. Drums are created in Patterning 3 and processed by Audio Damage Rough Rider compressor, Audiomodern Gatelab, Replicant, and FabFilter MB and Saturn distortion. Audio from the iPad is recorded and mixed in Ableton Live 12 Suite. I use the iConnectivity Audio 4c interface to easily integrate these two devices. Throughout the performance, selected pieces of the audio are routed to the Elektron Octatrack for live sampling and processing, then returned to Ableton Live. Ableton Live is also hosting Native Instruments Noire piano library and Slate & Ash Landforms orchestral sample library. These two instruments are played by the Fugue Machine sequencer on the iPad.
