What a surreal day! It starts with one more bit of appreciation for our room's view. Sarah gets herself ready for a little photo shoot and James puts on his going home outfit. It is finally time! The tears are real as Sarah is wheeled out of the hospital. We are bringing our baby home! James is all cozy and safe in his carseat and off we go. Introducing Eve to the baby was so cute. She even gave his head a little smooch! It's so strange to welcome home our baby the same day at the presidential election. Our TV flips back and forth from news coverage to Christmas movies to keep us balanced. We order some Chipotle for dinner and get super excited over something as simple as picking out jammies for James. Our hearts are full to read him his first night time book: "NO!
