The simple joy of drawing trees

From a quick tree sketch made on location to a detailed fineliner drawing created in the studio. Inspired by a hike through the mountains where I live in Brazil, I’ll show you how I observe, sketch, and capture the unique personality of a tree. I’ll also share pages from The Book of the Tree by Angus Hyland and Kendra Wilson, published by Laurence King Publishing, a stunning collection of tree art from artists and illustrators around the world.
