Wild water CARP FISHING - Salagou 2024

Movie-length film about my two-week trip to the legendary Lac du Salagou in southern France during late November/early December 2024. The big public waters of Europe are widely regarded as the pinnacle of carp fishing, and anything over 30kg (66lb) is viewed as something very special amongst the carp angling fraternity. This film covers my trip from start to finish, including the wipeout of my camp on the first night, right the way through to the dream finish of a monster carp of 75lb 4oz (34.13kg). Salagou is known for being a hostile water, with extreme weather patterns and violent winds, hence its nickname of Devil's Lake (Lac Diable) by the locals; the devil referencing the wind which strikes from nowhere at any time.
