But another part of me feels like they are already lovers, and a quiet distance is slowly growing between them. I’d really love to know what you think~ Which interpretation feels more right to you? 🤔 One reason I chose this as my first cover of 2026 is because I relate to both interpretations. It can be about slowing down before defining love… or about trying to hold on when distance starts to appear. In a way, it mirrors my own relationship with singing lately. I never stopped loving it~ I just needed time to pause, breathe, and reconnect before coming back. No rushing, just listening to where my heart was headed. A little update as well: I may not have shared this here and on any of my other SNS yet (exclusively on Patreon), but back in March 2024, I invested in something to help with my music production. It helps smooth out instrumentals for my covers, but it’s also for my long-overdue original songs~ the ones that lived only in my head for the longest time.
