We Found a Lost Backyard Wrestling Tape From 1998 | Garbage Everywhere Wrestling

A piece of backyard wrestling history has been recovered. This recently discovered VHS tape contains footage from Garbage Everywhere Wrestling (GEW) during the summer of 1998, making it some of the oldest backyard wrestling footage we've ever featured on the channel. Long before YouTube, social media, or streaming made it easy to share matches, backyard wrestlers documented their shows on camcorders and traded tapes by mail. Most of those recordings have been lost to time. This tape somehow survived. What you'll see here is raw, unfiltered backyard wrestling from an era when everything was homemade: the ring, the ramps, the characters, and the ideas. No production. No sponsors. Just a group of friends creating their own wrestling world in a backyard nearly three decades ago.
