A Closing Tribute to Macy’s at The Crystal Mall

One of the last days of Macy’s at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT. As the Mall approaches its imminent demise, Macy’s has decided to close its doors for good at this location (along with many other locations). Macy’s joined the Crystal Mall anchor store lineup in 1996 when Jordan Marsh went out of business. I grew up near this Mall and have been to this store many times as a kid and as an adult. It is a bit sorrowful seeing it go, but the memories will always remain.
