Lenasia battling cable theft syndicates
As residents of Johannesburg continue to face loadshedding and power cuts, the community of Lenasia in the south of Johannesburg also has to battle cable theft syndicates. With more than 100 days of power cuts since January, City Power says this means that Joburg also faced at least 100 days of cable theft due to the cover of darkness.
