The Constitutional Court has concluded the debates in the case regarding the control of the constitutionality of the provisions regarding the special legal status of Gagauzia and the Electoral Code. During the hearing, the lawyer of the People's Assembly of the region Iurie Mărgineanu asked the representative of the Parliament a direct question: why did the deputies not amend the provisions of the law that they consider unconstitutional in the legislature? However, he did not receive a clear answer.
