Chefe do Estado-Maior da Armada acompanha aprontamento de Fuzileiros

The Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo, visited today the Marine Corps force that is preparing for another NATO mission. During the visit to Pinheiro da Cruz, where the force is conducting the exercise, a seventh-day field mass was celebrated in honor of PSP agent Fábio Guerra, by the Bishop of the Armed Forces, D. Rui Valério, and the Chief Chaplain of the Navy, Captain Ilídio Costa, and which was also attended by all the vice-admirals of the Navy. Before the homily, the Chief of Staff of the Navy addressed the Marine Corps force, highlighting, in preparation for another international mission, the professionalism, commitment, discipline and dedication of this elite force of the Navy. The Marine Corps, commanded by Lieutenant Commander João Gomes Goulart and composed of 212 military personnel, continues its preparation to once again represent the Navy and Portugal at the highest level.
