These bigatures were just incredible, 72 massive models of a bunch of locations from the 7metres Tall minas Tirith at 1/72 scale, to a fully watertight third scale Grey Havens Elven ship, they were an essential part of Peter Jackson’s gritty realist aesthetic for the films, and just a massive source of inspiration for a young crafter. It has been a long term fantasy of mine to be able to see these massive bigatures in the flesh, to walk among them and see the ultimate reference for making my own stupidly massive middle earth scenery, Today we take a massive step towards that fantasy.
