New York Fireworks - 4th July - Is it worth it?

Located on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River, this spacious park offers stunning panoramic views of the iconic Manhattan skyline. It's the perfect spot to set up our blankets, chairs, and snacks, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience. But before we settled down for the fireworks, we made the most of our day by exploring nearby attractions. We indulged in a delicious lunch at Battery Park at Brookfield Place, enjoying the charming ambiance. And of course, we couldn't resist taking a ferry ride over to Jersey City, which provided us with a fantastic view of the cityscape. As the sun began to set, we made our way back to Liberty State Park, excitedly anticipating the grand fireworks spectacle. With Empire State Building and One World Trade Center visible from our vantage point, the anticipation grew. And when the fireworks finally started, we were mesmerized by the dazzling display lighting up the night sky. We highly recommend Liberty State Park as the ultimate spot to witness the Fourth of July fireworks. However, we suggest avoiding the city if you prefer a more relaxed experience. Plan to spend the entire day at the park, bringing along a barbecue, games, and other fun activities to make it a memorable outing. Arriving early will secure you a prime parking spot and a great viewing location.
