Brother Charger 651 Uniquely Cheap Problem (part 1)

Brother Charger 651 with an interesting problem. This is a 1960s made Japanese side load class 15 zigzag machine. These are my favorite and this Brother has a very specific problem that results from low-cost production methods of the mid 20th century.
