Tennessee - Mountain Coasters & Moonshine

🚗 This leg of our road trip brings us back to one of our favorite spots—Pigeon Forge, Tennessee—for a few days of pure Appalachian adventure. We found a budget-friendly motel, which means more room in the wallet for the real fun: theme parks, mountain coasters, hearty eats, and a dram (or three) of local spirits. First stop: Dollywood. We dive straight into the action with some of the wildest coasters in the South and food.After Dollywood, we hit up a few nearby restaurants that ooze small-town charm—places where the sweet tea flows freely and the hushpuppies are a plenty. Next up: mountain coasters. We spend the day zipping down the Smokies at breakneck speeds, seeing who will chicken out and hit the brakes. And we wrap things up with a wine and moonshine tasting that ends with a jaw-dropping 135-proof brew.
