Bomberman 64 - Masker (Speed Metal Cover)

Bomberman 64 is the property of Hudson Soft and Nintendo ltd. Hey folks, back with another VGM cover. Once again like my last 3 covers I have picked a song from a franchise I have never touched before, and that is the Bomberman games. I remember as a kid playing this video game with my older brother, especially the multiplayer matches. Fun times. I picked the Mini-Boss "Masker" theme as it's a short and easy theme to learn, and I think it covers the foundations of an awesome and lively Metal rendition, with it's fast tempo and melodies. The final result of this is a speed metal cover with some keys thrown in. I wasn't too sure what genre to label this cover as. There are moments where it sounds thrashy but there are also keys in this cover and is more melodic than your usual thrash metal song. So I've just labeled it a speed metal cover. To compliment the original style of the track I started this cover off in a drum & bass style rendition. I did my best to make the drums in the intro sound like that of a drum & bass song.
