Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Review - Comparing Body Mists & Lotions - Perfume Layering Combos

Here are my thoughts on the Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation collection. Spoiler alert: these body mists are just as fun as the packaging. Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Cool & Bright is a very juicy crisp pear at the first spray. It settles into a sweet and bright mango. The mango is realistic, but definitely leans mango nectar because of that citrus quality. I get the honey towards the drydown – it’s hard to distinguish the honey on its own, but perhaps it’s making PINK On Vacation Cool & Bright smell sweeter, perhaps a bit more solar as if the mango was sitting in the sun to become more syrupy. Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla Heat is much deeper. The mango is more spicy and is dominated by coconut and vanilla. I only have the body butter, but PINK Mango is less complex. The mango stands on its own, more fresh and not as sweet or syrupy. Phlur Mango Mood is completely different. The mango is not fresh or juicy – it is darker and more mature and dominated by patchouli, iris, black currant, and orris. Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Fresh & Clean opens with a juicy pineapple that becomes more pina colada as it dries down. This pineapple is slightly sour and bright, but not particularly syrupy. As it dries down, the coconut milk gives it a more tropical drink vibe, where the pineapple stays fresh, but now a little more creamy. I can’t really detect the sea spray / sea water at all, but I’m guessing these salty notes are working overtime to keep PINK On Vacation Fresh & Clean smelling fresh and not too sweet. Easily the most long-lasting in this collection. I rate this a 7/10 Bath & Body Works Pink Pineapple Sunrise is more sugary and leans more orange. The pineapple is also not as juicy and bright as Fresh and Clean. Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Vanilla & Dreamy is a delicious tropical vanilla. The dragon fruit adds lush tropical florals, but PINK On Vacation Vanilla & Dreamy definitely leans fruity and sweet, especially as I detect the vanilla more in the dry down. The vanilla is slightly powdery, but lingers in the background and maintains these tropical vibes. This one is my favorite and gets an 8.5/10 Sol de Janeiro 68 is not as sweet or solar. It still leans tropical, but there is a mossy, salty and quality that lends itself to Zara Red Temptation, BR 540, etc. Completely different Ouai St. Barts is more of a grapey white floral that leans a bit tropical. They both have dragonfruit, but St Barts is not as sweet and the amber makes this more sharp. Also completely different Victoria’s Secret PINK on Vacation Warm & Cozy is a juicy peach nectar, but as it dries down, it’s dominated with the passion fruit. This passion fruit is very tropical, grapey but slightly citrus. The peach dries down to be a little more syrupy. PINK on Vacation Warm & Cozy is passionfruit peach juice, but not too sweet – and the most unique in this collection. I give this an 8/10 Kopari Malibu Peach is more of a white floral with a touch of peach. Victoria’s Secret Sunlit Nectar is more floral and less tropical. If you like one, I think you’ll like the other. I don’t typically gravitate towards fruity fragrances, but I adore the PINK On Vacation collection. All four of these body mists are fruity, mouthwatering, and straight up tropical island in a bottle. These will later so well with your favorite fruity perfumes. Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Cool & Bright Fragrance Description: Cool & Bright gone wild! Crisp, watery-fresh fruit dripping with honey and golden sunshine, Mango nectar, Golden honey, Juicy Pear. 8/10 Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Fresh & Clean Fragrance Description: Pina colada perfection. Creamy with coconut, tangy with pineapple, cool with sprays of sea salt. Pineapple nectar, Coconut milk, Sea spray. 7/10 Victoria’s Secret PINK On Vacation Vanilla & Dreamy Fragrance Description: Vanilla hits the beach. All bright yellow sun and hot, soft sand. Extra creamy, deliciously deluxe. Agave Nectar, Dragon Fruit, Island Vanilla. 8.5/10 Victoria’s Secret PINK on Vacation Warm & Cozy A nectar-drenched twist on the classic, with a little more passionfruit and a splash of peach.
