Replacing Thermostat on 1999 Nissan Altima GXE

How I've replaced a faulty thermostat in my old-school 1999 Nissan Altima, this car worked in a few films and I'd like to keep it around - this is an easy job if you take it slow - and on cold days a fully open thermostat can chill the engine and not let the interior of the car have heating, usually a good symptom is at high speed highway driving in the winter the engine temperature gauge will go down, but stay warm when doing city driving.
