81 GMC C10 Square Body – Roof Dent Repair Fought Me

In this video, I’m back working on Bob, my 1981 GMC C10 square body, and this time I start tackling a stubborn dent on the roof. The plan seemed simple: use the glue puller and start working the dent out. But of course, old rust had other ideas. The glue wouldn’t stick to the rusty metal at first, so I had to break out the wire wheel, clean it up, buff the surface, and give it another shot. Eventually, the dent started moving and I got it looking better than it was. After that, I moved over to the driver’s side and removed the rusty wheel well trim. Then I ground down a bunch of old rivets and scraped off the leftover trim glue from that side too. It’s not fancy work, but it’s all part of learning autobody one stubborn little job at a time.
