Beauvais, France 2024

Charming French town just north of Paris. Building of Cathédrale Saint-Pierre begun in 1247. Right now, it's under the renovation. Tillé (Beauvais) Airport is located near the town. Take the train from Paris (Paris Gare du Nord) to the Beauvais. Bus stop is located to the left (about 2 minute walk) from the station's exit. Bus #6 takes about 30 minutes. Bus driver sells tickets on the bus, cost is 1 euro per person. Easiest way is to pay cash. If you are using card, you can only buy 1 ticket per card. If you are traveling from Beauvais to Paris, exit at Brière SNCF stop, because the last stop will be at the center of the town (Hôtel De Ville) instead of the train station. It's about 3 minute walk from Brière SNCF stop to the train station and about 10 minute walk from the Hôtel De Ville stop to the train station. You should definitely visit this town on the way to the airport. Also, there is a shuttle bus right from the airport to Paris, but my personal preference is to travel on the train (we did both, train and the bus).
