Not bodybuilding, not bro splits. BP day with Dan at Houston Park, and this one turned into a full swing experiment. The original plan was to get Dan and Woody on camera, but Woody ditched us, so we spent the whole day roasting him and trying to copy his swing. Somehow that turned into one of the best swing feels I’ve had. Long arm, hands staying back, barrel lag, stretch, and letting the body rotate before the barrel fires through. Big lesson from this one — sometimes you need to mess around and feel the opposite of what you normally do. I usually think cut, hammer, and get the barrel out. Today we played with keeping the hands back longer, letting the barrel lag, and it unlocked a stupid amount of easy power. Not saying it fixes everything, but there is definitely something there. 00:00 Houston Park BP intro 02:00 Roasting Woody’s swing 04:30 Trying the Woody push-side swing 07:00 Dan starts cutting the ball 09:00 Keeping the hands connected 11:00 Barrel lag and effortless power 14:00 Long arm feel 17:00 Pull-side swing experiment 20:00 Stretch, fire, and keeping hands back 24:00 Biggest swing unlock of the day 27:00 Final swings and wrap up Extras: Mess around with the opposite feel.
