In this episode we have covered important current affairs topics like, IMEE mega economic corridor, Strategic Partnership Council, G20 declaration, 'Global Biofuel Alliance', Nipah Virus etc. Recently held G-20 conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of the India-Middle East-Europe mega economic corridor. This international project involves India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, European Union, France, Italy, Germany and USA. Through this corridor, India will be able to easily access West Asia and Europe. After the successful organization of G20, India started SPC i.e. Strategic Partnership Council. The first meeting of this council was held with Saudi Arabia. India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council was established in the year 2019. India is the fourth country with which Saudi has formed such a partnership, after the United Kingdom, France and China. Global Biofuel Alliance was also launched in the G-20 meeting. Also, at the global level, an appeal has been made to G20 countries to bring down the blending of ethanol with petrol to 20 percent. In other section, Recently 2 persons died in Kozhikode, Kerala. Nipah virus infection is being said to be the cause. Two more people have been kept under the observation of doctors. Many cases of Nipah virus have been reported in Kerala since 2018. Apart from Kerala, Nipah virus patients have also been found in West Bengal. However, the first outbreak of this virus appeared in India in the year 2001.
